Meet Alyssa Higgins, our President!
1. School: Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law
2. Program: Juris Doctor (JD)
3. Fun Fact: I have never once broken a bone, but had my chin split open and glue back together!
4. Year/Semester joined: Fall 2018
5. Why Omega Pi? The values Omega Pi stood for really resonated with me and it allowed me an opportunity to do some great things for the community while still having a great time with some great people!

Meet Brooke Cramer, our Secretary!

2. Program: Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, minor in Law, Justice and Society, Certificate in Science Communication and leadership
3. Fun fact: I used to be a competitive swimmer and water polo player.
4. Year/Semester joined: Fall 2021
5. Why Omega Pi? I chose to pledge Omega Pi because coming from outside of Nova Scotia, I didn't know many people in Halifax, and I wanted to meet a group of girls with similar interests and mindsets. Another reason I chose Omega Pi is that the values of this sorority are similar to my own. The sorority has also given me opportunity to become more involved in the Halifax community.

5. Why Omega Pi? I moved here knowing nobody and never having been to the province so when I saw the opportunity to join an amazing group of women I jumped at it and found some of the best friends I’ve ever made.

5. Why Omega Pi? I really liked omega pi because it seemed like such a supportive community. I love the history and how we’re like one big family.

Meet Ellie Pope, our Social Media Chair!

5. Why Omega Pi? I joined omega pi because I had just moved to Halifax from England a few months before and with there also being a lot of COVID restrictions still in place, I found it very difficult to make new friends. When I started to rush omega pi, everyone was so lovely, and I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for. Some of my best friends now are sisters and I am so grateful I found them!

Given my history of actively contributing to the community through volunteering, I was drawn to a sorority that shared my commitment to making a positive impact. Within Omega Pi, I aspire to connect with other ambitious women who are dedicated to giving back. This choice was more than just a social endeavor; it was a deliberate step toward building relationships with like-minded individuals, fostering a sense of community, and collectively channeling our ambition towards meaningful philanthropy.
